Muziekaal juweeltje van de maand is deze keer geworden ‘Thank U’ van Alanis Morisette. Alanis schrijft sowieso prachtige teksten die ze op een ongelofelijke manier op muziek kan plaatsen. Voor mij begint dit nummer al met een hele belangrijke vraagstelling:

In een tijd dat we steeds makkelijker met gemak omgaan wordt het tijd dat we ons weer gaan realiseren wat het verkrijgen van dat gemak als schaduwkant heeft. Ik bedoel, het begint zo standaard te worden dat mensen maar zo snel mogelijk een antibiotica kuurtje nemen als er een virusje actief is terwijl er veel meer verschillende oplossingen zijn.
